Vesilintujen kuvaaminen varhain keväällä on kiehtovimmista asioista mitä tiedän. Kun saapuu kuvauspaikalle yön pimeydessä – punarinnat ja rastaat laulavat, lehtöpöllö huutaa. Märkä maa tuoksuu keväälle. Ilmassa on jännitystä.

Photographing waterfowl in early spring is one of the most intriquing things I know. When you arrive at the location in the dark of night – robins and redwings singing, Tawny owl hooting. The wet ground smells of spring. There is excitement in the air.
